Great food and service! Even though they were packed with a wait we got in and food was delicious. Oysters, bake and on the half shell raw! The Bologna sandwich was a treat!
My son and I came here for dinner tonight. We sat outside and had a wonderful meal. The food is really great! Oyster shooter was great, and the raw oysters were phenomenal. My peel and eat shrimp was also amazing. My son loved his fish and chips, too! The wait staff didn't seem like they enjoyed being there or even really liked their jobs- hence the 4 stars. But, otherwise great place!
This is the second time I've been to Moore street oyster bar, once again it exceeded expectations. It's not a fancy uptight place, just good food and drinks. For the Apps my wife and I got the loaded tots and the hot oyster sampler. The sampler gives you two of each hot oyster variety, you end up with 10 really delicious broiled oysters. My favorite was the garlic Parmesan and the bacon and collards. I got the fried oyster basket as my entree and that was amazing as well. Wife got the chicken sandwich which she liked but said was a little heavy on sauce. Next time I'll go for some raw oysters. The one complaint I have is that we were put on a wait for table service despite there being plenty tables open. I don't think that's a fault of the restaurant though, probably short staffed.
Underpromised and over delivered! Stopped in on a Friday night and snagged a couple of seats at the bar. Ordered the Moore Street Bucket, added potatoes and corn to the bucket. A tad pricey, but worth every penny! Awesome service, nice staff - - - we will be back for sure.
